Terms of Service

1. About these terms

These terms are an agreement between you and Mikael Perakoski, Finland ("we", "us"), the developer of VyreX. They apply to the VyreX desktop app, the VyreX cloud service and this website (together, "VyreX"). By installing or using VyreX you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use VyreX.

2. Who can use VyreX

You must be at least 13 years old to use VyreX. If you are under 18, you need permission from a parent or guardian, and they must agree to these terms on your behalf before you buy Pro.

3. Your licence to use the app

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use VyreX on your own computers. Where the source code is published under an open-source licence, that licence also applies to the code.

4. Your account

Some features, such as sharing and archiving clips, need an account. You sign in with Google. Keep your Google account secure, because anyone who can sign in to it can use your VyreX account. Tell us right away if you think someone else has accessed it.

5. Your content

You own the clips you record and upload. When you upload a clip, you give us permission to store it, process it (for example, to make a thumbnail) and show it to anyone you share the link with. This permission ends when you delete the clip, except for copies kept for a short time in backups.

You are responsible for making sure you have the right to upload and share your clips. This includes music you add in the editor and any rules the game's publisher has about sharing gameplay footage.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use VyreX to:

• upload or share anything illegal, including content that sexualises minors;
• harass, threaten or dox other people, or share recordings of people without their permission where the law requires it;
• share content that infringes someone else's copyright or other rights;
• spread malware or attack, overload or try to break into our servers;
• use the cloud service as general file storage for things that aren't game clips;
• get around the limits of your plan or resell access to VyreX.

We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules. If you see a clip that breaks them, report it to mikael.perakoski@gmail.com.

7. VyreX Pro

VyreX Pro costs €7.99 per month, including VAT, unless a different price is shown at checkout. Pro is sold by Lemon Squeezy, our reseller and merchant of record, and their terms of sale also apply to your purchase.

• Your subscription renews automatically each month until you cancel.
• You can cancel at any time. You keep Pro until the end of the period you have already paid for.
• If you are a consumer in the EU, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal. Because Pro starts as soon as you buy it, you will be asked at checkout to agree that it starts right away. You can still cancel within 14 days and ask for a refund for the unused part.
• If we change the price, we will tell you at least 30 days before it applies to you, and you can cancel before then.

8. Games and other services

VyreX is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Valve, Riot Games, Spotify or any game publisher. Auto-clip only uses the official data interfaces that these games provide. For CS2 and Dota 2 it adds the standard Game State Integration config file that Valve documents; it doesn't read game memory or inject code into games. Still, each game has its own rules, and you are responsible for following them.

9. Beta, changes and availability

VyreX is currently in public beta and is still in active development. We may add, change or remove features, and the service may sometimes be unavailable for maintenance or because of problems with our providers. If we ever shut down the cloud service, we will give you at least 30 days' notice so you can download your clips.

10. Warranty and liability

We work hard to make VyreX reliable, but we provide it "as is". We can't promise that it will always work without errors or that every moment will be captured. Keep your own copies of clips that matter to you.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses or lost data, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer under mandatory law.

11. Ending the agreement

You can stop using VyreX at any time and delete your account by contacting us. We may suspend or close your account if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms. If we do, we will tell you why, unless the law prevents us.

12. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by Finnish law. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live. Please contact us first if you have a problem, and we will try to fix it. Consumers in Finland can also take a dispute to the Consumer Disputes Board.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will tell you in the app at least 30 days before it takes effect. If you keep using VyreX after that, the new terms apply.
